Home Staging resources for staging furniture and props
One handy resource for home stagers that I’ve known about for a while is boxprops.com. You can get those fake cardboard TVs, etc. that are very slick looking. I would probably use these if I had to stage a home with a built-in entertainment center. Builders like to have these cardboard electronics in model homes, too. It’s not something I would use for staging most houses, but it’s nice to know where you can get a fake plasma tv if you ever need one.
The next home staging resource I’d like to share is a good place to order affordable furniture that will look great for staging. HomeReserve.com has chairs, loveseats, and sofas in classic styles and a variety of upholstery options. A loveseat I priced would cost $284 to the door ($45 shipping) and arrives ready to assemble. So you do have to get it put together, but the price is right, especially for a home stager just starting out.
